Last year's Rizoelia Run was our first one, and a huge success. We sold out all our races and received the most positive feedback from participants, sponsors and supporters.

LOCATION
The races follow routes within the Rizoelia National Forest Park, the start and finish lines and post-race party take place at the premises of Piacere Sports Club just outside the Rizoelia National Forest Park.

SUPPORT AND CHARITY
We have secured the full support for the event from Aradippou Municipal Council and Aradippou Youth and Sports Committee until 2029. The support will renew with the newly elected council after the 2029 elections.
After our dynamic debut last year, we decided to give back the support that the Municipality of Aradippou offered to our event. We will donate part of our proceeds to support the Vasoula Eleftheriou Fund.
The Vasoula Eleftheriou Fund was established in 1993, with the purpose of providing financial assistance for medical treatment, psychological support, and the preservation of hope to underprivileged patients of Aradippou.
The Municipality embraces the Fund, supports it, and strengthens it with the goal of improving the lives of the residents of Aradippou.
We have also acquired the necessary permit from the Forestry Department to use the park, the help from Civil Defense and Aradippou Scouts to ensure all entries and exits of the park are closed to the public and only accessed upon authorization.
We do have a valid Health and Safety Plan as lawfully required.
ENVIRONMENT
We have committed ourselves to organize various initiatives to preserve the physical beauty of the park. Two cleanup days for the whole park, one during autumn through our participation in the global movement Let's Do It, one in early spring where we accompany the cleanup with a tree planting initiative.
For the day of the event, we establish Littering Zones within the routes concentrates the garbage from the participants within the zones, it will help prevent garbage scatter and speed up the cleanup process after the completion of all races.
